Verrel Bramasta performed a series of Umrah rituals in the holy land of Mecca with his brother, Athalla Naufal, and his father's family, Ivan Fadilla. Upon returning to the homeland, Verrel, who was on his first Umrah journey, shared stories about his religious journey with his family.

"Alhamdulillah, I am back in the homeland after a nine-day Umrah journey with my family for the first time. Alhamdulillah, I was able to perform Umrah with my father, mother Sarni, brother, and baby Al. InshaAllah, next month I will return to the holy land with Mama Venna," said Verrel at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on Monday (9/10/2023).

So, for Verrel's first Umrah experience, he revealed that his first Umrah journey was very memorable and difficult to forget.

"It was truly unforgettable. Because there were many interesting and funny incidents," said Verrel.

2. Experience the Consequences of Good and Bad Deeds in the Holy Land

Verrel also shared his interesting experiences during Umrah. One of them is when he personally felt the story circulating that good and bad deeds will be rewarded in the holy land of Mecca.

"They say that whatever we do here in Indonesia, whether good or bad, will be immediately rewarded there, and I really felt it, from the good rewards to the bad ones," Verrel said without explaining the specific rewards he received.

3. Verrel Fell Ill

In addition, when he first arrived in the holy land, he fell ill and worried that he would not be able to perform the religious duties properly. However, when the time came to perform the pillars of Umrah, he experienced a miracle.

"I was sick for a while. But when it was time for Umrah, I was healthy and able to perform it from the beginning, Ihram, Tawaf Sa'i, and others. After it was finished, I fell ill again. But the ustaz said it's okay, it's part of the test," he said.

The actor who recently turned 27 revealed another interesting moment. He shared his experience at the Ka'bah and the tomb of Muhammad.

"When I was at the Ka'bah, it was the first time I saw people from all over the world worshiping. There were even backpacker pilgrims," he said. 

"When we visited the tomb of Prophet Muhammad, it was really touching, did you cry too, bro?" Verrel asked Athalla Naufal. 

"Yes, I cried," Athalla replied.
