Berlliana Lovell Reveals She Was Once a Street Musician: That Was the Happiest Moment

In an interview in the Rawa Selatan area, Central Jakarta, on Friday (29/11/2024), Berlliana shared that she used to be a street musician. Instead of feeling ashamed, she feels she gained many exciting experiences during that time.

"It all started from being a street musician, that's really true. From 2010 to 2011, I busked on the streets. It was fun, really fun. Thankfully, I met good people there, not bad ones," Berlliana expressed.

She feels that the journey was an important part that shaped her into who she is today. When asked about her reasons for becoming a street performer, Berlliana admitted it happened after she decided to run away from home.

"To eat. I ran away from home, so there was no food, not working, so I became a street performer," she explained.

At that time, Berlliana had just graduated from high school. Although she was in a difficult economic situation, she felt fortunate to meet kind-hearted people during that time.

"I was really guided, directed, until finally I am at this point now. Even until now I still have a good relationship with them," she said.

2. Happy Times Without Burdens

However, who would have thought that the times as a street performer would actually become one of the happiest moments in her life. For Berlliana, being a street performer taught her to enjoy a simple life.

"No, actually that was my happiest point. Because there were no burdens. I didn’t want anything, didn’t want an iPhone, didn’t want a bag, didn’t want anything. I think that was the happiest and most carefree life," Berlliana said gratefully.

"When I was performing, it was just to eat for today. If there was something, then that was enough," she reminisced.

3. Don't Forget the Past

Those times made her appreciate life and happiness more, which cannot always be measured by material things. Now, Berlliana has successfully built a career as a celebrity on Instagram, singer, and content creator.

However, she does not forget her friends from the past who always supported and guided her. "Until now, I am still the same with them. They are an important part of my life journey," she said with great respect.
