Besides Preparing Physically and Mentally, Gus Miftah Says Deddy Corbuzier Feels Burdened by Free Hajj

"He said, 'Why do I feel burdened by a free Hajj?'", said Gus Miftah.

1. Previously Received Other Offers

Not only that, Gus Miftah said that he had previously received the same offer from a businessman. However, the former mentalist magician refused it too.

"Mas Deddy is a very idealistic friend," he said.

"Previously, we were given two invitations from a businessman through a top travel agency in Indonesia to perform Hajj but he refused," he continued.

2. Has Many Considerations

In addition, Gus Miftah believes that Deddy Corbuzier refused the Hajj offer this year because he has many considerations. Deddy Corbuzier apparently wants to be fully prepared physically, mentally, and spiritually.

"Mas Deddy still has many considerations, he is a perfectionist. He doesn't want his worship to be half-hearted," he said.

3. Raffi Ahmad and Rizky Billar Also Cancelled

Besides Deddy Corbuzier, two other names, Raffi Ahmad and Rizky Billar, also cancelled their Hajj trip due to scheduling conflicts. Therefore, Gus Miftah did not mind because Hajj is not for those who are capable, but for those who are called.

"Then, there's Rizky and Raffi. Raffi said from the beginning, when the visa came out, he said, 'Bro, I can't go because I have to arrange my schedule.' The same goes for Rizky Billar, he has to shoot an ad on the 12th," he said.

"Furthermore, the issue of visas has not been resolved yet. That's why, for me, Hajj is a calling. Allah does not call those who are capable, but Allah calls those who are called," he continued.

4. Cannot Force It

For Raffi Ahmad himself, he feels that he cannot force himself to go on Hajj this year. Because Raffi actually invited Gus Miftah to go on Hajj next year if there are no obstacles.

"So for Raffi, 'Bro, let's go next year. I'll pay for myself and my wife.' It can't be forced this year. But, again, Hajj cannot be forced because this is a calling from Allah SWT. It's possible that Raffi won't go, and Rizky Billar is still hesitant. Qadarullah, everyone has their own busy schedule. I spoke to the Ambassador about the situation. We apologize," he concluded.
