Betrand Putra Onsu Reveals There Are Moments When Campus Friends Are Afraid to Approach Due to His Artist Status

Betrand Putra Onsu revealed that romantic life is not his priority at the moment. Although he has received approval from Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah to enter a relationship, Betrand chooses to remain focused on other activities. Currently, he is still enjoying his status as a single student.

In his campus, Betrand admitted that there are several women who try to get close. However, their relationship so far has only been platonic. According to him, many of his female friends feel hesitant to approach because of his status as a public figure. Read more below!

"There are those who are close and those who approach, but we are friends. They are the type of people who seem shy or afraid to get close. Because they consider me as still a public figure," said Betrand when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, on Monday (25/11/2024) night.

Betrand tries to eliminate the distance by explaining that he is just an ordinary student like his other friends. He hopes his status as a public figure does not become an obstacle to interact.

"I told them, so just be normal with me. Because I am not establishing myself as a public figure here, but as a student," he explained.

After providing the explanation, Betrand felt relieved because his friends began to understand his position. He emphasized that he never considers his status as an artist as an obstacle in socializing on campus.

"Finally they said, 'oh really, we were afraid that if we got too close you wouldn't like it.' I was there not as an artist, but as a student," he said.

In addition to his campus activities, Betrand is now actively playing soccer. This has become one of the reasons why he has not thought about starting a romantic relationship.    "I can play soccer six times a week. At the end of the month, there will be a tournament too. Right now, I'm not focusing on girls first. Let's focus on soccer for now," concluded Betrand.
