Fahmi Bachmid explained that Baim Wong is the party who filed the lawsuit. It is impossible for his side to also want to reconcile.
"Currently, once again I state that the one who filed for divorce is Muhammad Ibrahim, so it is impossible for him to want to do something that has been rejected for peace. Wanting peace, wanting to reconcile is all impossible," said Fahmi Bachmid at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday (4/12/2204).

If there is indeed an intention to reconcile, Baim Wong's party can withdraw the lawsuit. This time, the lawyer emphasized that his client indeed wants to separate from Paula.
"So even if Baim wants to reconcile, he just needs to withdraw the lawsuit, and it's done. So that there are no statements that Baim wants to reconcile. No, Baim wants a divorce," Fahmi Bachmid added.

Fahmi revealed that Baim is the party who filed for divorce from Paula. He emphasized that if his client indeed intends to reconcile, the divorce petition could be withdrawn before the judges issue a ruling.
"Because the lawsuit was filed by Baim, it means he can withdraw the lawsuit at any time before the ruling," he continued.

Fahmi stated that the mediation between Baim and Paula has not reached an agreement. However, this is not about their divorce. The main focus of the meeting was regarding the fate of their child.
"In the reconciliation, no agreement was reached, but it is not an agreement related to the divorce, but an agreement concerning the child," he revealed.

Baim Wong expressed his desire for his divorce process with Paula Verhoeven to be resolved quickly. He emphasized that from the beginning, his intention was to settle everything amicably.
"Of course, and I want it to end well. From the start, we wanted to resolve it amicably," said Baim Wong.
