Wika Salim Visits Polda Metro Jaya, Reports Alleged Embezzlement Related to Work Contract - Suffers Significant Losses

Dangdut singer Wika Salim along with lawyer Sandy Arifin visited the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of Polda Metro Jaya on Wednesday (4/12/2024). Their visit was to consult regarding the alleged embezzlement experienced by Wika Salim in her work contract matters.

Sandy Arifin explained that his client is currently experiencing significant losses. These losses are related to several work contracts involving singing activities, both in and out of town.

"So our client, Miss Wika, is suffering significant losses due to these work contracts for singing and other jobs," said Sandy at Polda Metro Jaya, Wednesday (4/12/2024).

Sandy Arifin suspects that there are parties embezzling the hard-earned money of the singer. However, Sandy has not been able to confirm who the person suspected of being involved in the embezzlement is.

"I don't know for sure who is involved, whether it is one person or more," he said.

Sandy also added that the party suspected of being involved in the embezzlement is within the management of Wika Salim.

"There is a possibility of collaboration within the management of Wika, we are still investigating this matter together with Wika," Sandy explained.

In an effort to resolve this issue, Wika Salim brought several important documents to be submitted to the police as part of the report.

"We want to discuss with the investigator to find out what documents we need to gather. We have brought some evidence and will soon determine when the report will be made," explained Sandy.

Wika Salim also emphasized that the losses she has suffered are very significant, considering the time she has spent working.

"The losses are certainly not small, because it has been going on for quite a while. In addition, it is not only me who has been harmed; several of my workers and crew have also fallen victim to this embezzlement," Wika revealed.
