Bullied by Netizens Because His Photo Was Spread by Irresponsible Individuals, Doctor Reza Gladys Takes Legal Action

Kapanlagi.com - There are times when social media turns into a cruel and detrimental platform for certain parties, as experienced by celebrity beauty doctor, Dr. Reza Gladys, who is also the owner of Gafidsya Medika. Dr. Reza has been bullied on social media after several netizens uploaded his photo with tweets that were opinionated.

Feeling aggrieved, Dr. Reza decided to take legal action. He enlisted the help of Razman Arif Nasution as his legal counsel. At a press conference held at the Glafidsya Medika Clinic on Monday (28/9), Razman explained the chronology of the incident.

"There is someone who posted a photo of Dr. Reza, the latest one is Ririn, I think she is from Aceh, she apologized because I reminded her for posting a photo of my client and she immediately corrected it and apologized. There have been 5-6 people who apologized," said Razman.

1. Is There a Hidden Intention?

Although there have been some apologies, it seems that there is still one netizen who is being investigated by Reza's team. In fact, there is a suspicion that the actions of the account are intentional because there are hidden intentions.

"This one is named Syahar Banu. For the past 3 weeks, Syahar Banu has been frequently posting on Twitter, which we categorize as shaping public opinion with tweets that can provoke people to comment. My team has been working for several days, and we found out that he is very skillful. He doesn't directly mention the main issue and the name of Dr. Reza and the Glafidsya Medika clinic. But if not careful, he could also fall," explained Rahman.

"I have coordinated with the police and other senior lawyers, we are investigating this. There is something going on here, whether it's a commission or his own personal agenda. We suspect that he is a radio journalist and he likes to play on Twitter," he continued.

2. Loss Experienced by Doctor Reza

Consistent with his legal representative, Doctor Reza also requested an explanation from the perpetrator regarding his actions. Besides being bullied, Doctor Reza also experienced other losses related to the reputation of his beauty clinic.

"I just want Ms. Syahar Banu to clarify why she posted my photo and manipulated opinions about me. Especially since we don't know each other and have never met. It's not pleasant to be bullied, especially by someone we don't know. It's also shocking, not that I'm not prepared to be bullied, but it's strange why someone would hate us when we have no business with them. Some comments say that the treatments here actually cause acne, and they call me uncivilized because of my association with the clinic's name. My photo was turned into a meme on Instagram," Doctor Reza expressed.

3. Give Time to Apologize

Doctor Reza and his legal team are still giving the perpetrator a deadline to immediately clarify and apologize for his actions. If not, they will be forced to take this matter to the legal path.

"We will bring expert witnesses, we will communicate with language experts. I don't play around with my client. If my client is harassed, I chase after them. I have given verbal and written warnings. Now we give verbal and media warnings so that Syahar Banu clarifies his statements and does not post photos of Doctor Reza Gladys. My client has been bullied, there are more than 1000 comments. Even Doctor Reza's sleep is disturbed. Through this, we give a 3x24 hour deadline for Syahar Banu to respond," Razman concluded.
