Viral Yellow Shirt Auction, Lutfi Agizal Reveals the Reasons While Holding Back Tears

Kapanlagi.com - After making an issue about the word 'Anjay', Lutfi Agizal once again stirred up public attention because recently a statement letter circulated about him auctioning his viral yellow shirt. Because according to Lutfi Agizal, the shirt has a history in his life.

"So I auctioned off the yellow shirt because for me, that shirt is history. I used that shirt for shooting FTV, soap operas, daily activities as well. And the online news about the shirt with my photo was very abundant," said Lutfi Agizal when met in the Pasar Rebo area, East Jakarta, on Sunday (6/9).

1. The Results Will Be Donated

Not only a regular clothing auction, it also opens donations and the results will be fully donated to the Indonesian Children's Cancer Foundation.

"I thought that if I could auction this and donate it to the Indonesian Children's Cancer Foundation, why not. My goal is to give something that can be useful to others as well. I have signed it on a stamp," explained Lutfi Agizal.

"I will open a donation where I will include a bank account number that I will empty specifically to receive donations and I will give the opportunity to those who are interested in my clothes. Whatever the result, I will collect it and hand it over to the Indonesian Children's Cancer Foundation," he continued.

2. Remembering Late Father

It turns out that Lutfi Agizal has his own reasons for donating the proceeds from the auction of his clothes and opening donations for the Indonesian Children's Cancer Foundation. Because he remembers his late father who had cancer and he knows well the struggle of someone fighting against cancer.

"Because why I chose the younger siblings who have, sorry, cancer, I know their struggle is not easy. I have experienced that. My late father was sick since I was in first grade, underwent two surgeries. I know how much he suffered. I know how heavy the struggle of my father was," he said while holding back tears.

3. Not a Publicity Stunt

He also stated that what he is doing is not just for publicity. Lutfi Agizal also asked the public to see the positive side of this and hopes that many people will donate.

"Please consider this as not just to improve my reputation. If you think poorly of me, it's okay. But let's focus on the positive side that I am highlighting for the children we support. Because the foundation definitely needs funds for our program. If we can share, why not?" he concluded.
