Bunga Zainal Touched to Receive Hampers from Vegetable and Grocery Vendors

As the festive season approaches, many people share happiness through Lebaran hampers. This simple act was also experienced by Bunga Zainal, who admitted to being very touched to receive gifts from people she did not expect.

Through a video post on social media, Bunga shared the touching moment when she received Lebaran hampers from her regular vegetable and grocery vendors. For Bunga, this attention felt very meaningful because they did not have a close personal relationship.

"I want to share a story with you. This time the story is a bit touching. Maybe it's time for me to thank God, that there are still people who don't know me but care about me a lot," Bunga said, quoted by KapanLagi from her TikTok video.

Bunga admitted that she did not see the value or form of the gift given to her. However, what touched her was the sincere intention of people who did not even know her personally. "I don't see how much it's worth, I don't see what it looks like. But what I really respect and appreciate is that people who really don't know me personally can think of me," she continued.

The actress then showed the hampers she received. The contents were quite simple, but according to her, they were very meaningful. "Do you want to know what I got? I got cooking oil, syrup, and cake. And this is from someone I really don't know," she said.

What made Bunga even more touched was that the hampers were given by a vendor she usually meets while shopping for daily necessities. "For God's sake, I am really touched. I was given this by the vegetable seller. Can you imagine? I was given this by the vegetable seller and the grocery seller," she revealed.

Bunga also revealed that this is not the first time she has received attention from her regular vegetable vendor. The previous year, she also received a similar gift. "This is the second time I've been given something by the vegetable lady. Last year I was only given one bottle of oil and syrup, and this year I received two bottles of cooking oil and syrup," she said.

Bunga even feels that she should be the one giving a gift to the vendor, not the other way around. "Oh God, I should be the one giving. But the lady is the one giving me gifts. She doesn't know me, but she's like my own mother," Bunga said emotionally.

Meanwhile, the cookies she received were given by her young regular grocery vendor. "These cookies were given by the grocery vendor I shop from every week. He's a young guy, but he's really nice," she shared.

Bunga admitted that she never expected the traders would remember her enough to give her Lebaran hampers. "As soon as I was given it, I thought, 'Oh God, they really remember me.' I never thought they could remember me every year. In fact, I've never given them anything," she revealed.

At the end of her story, Bunga expressed her heartfelt gratitude to both traders. "Anyway, to the vegetable seller and the one at the grocery store, I don’t know your names. Thank you so much. Always stay healthy, thank you for the hampers. May your fortune be smooth, and your health be boundless. Just stay healthy always," she concluded.
