Olla Ramlan Filming in the Malaysian Forest, Bathing in a Waterfall Until Shivering

One of the most physically challenging scenes was when she had to act bathing in a natural waterfall. Olla emphasized that the scene was done for real without the help of visual effects technology or AI.

The very cold water temperature in the middle of the forest made Olla struggle against shivering. Not to mention the loud roar of the waterfall made it difficult for her to communicate with her co-star. She admitted that she had to shout so that her dialogue could be heard clearly by her conversation partner.

"It was real! I was so cold, masyaallah, it was freezing, and I had to be in the waterfall and deliver my lines. Can you imagine a waterfall that loud? I had to keep talking to the Malaysian actor, 'Can you hear me? Can you hear me?' with that loud noise," said Olla Ramlan in the Senayan area, Thursday (26/2/2026).

1. Difficulty of Shower Scene at the Waterfall

The location of the waterfall is also not easy to reach. Olla had to take an additional hour-long journey from her main accommodation, which is already in a remote area. The wild natural conditions also made her feel anxious about the presence of animals like snakes.

"Yes, there is a certain pride abroad, but I’m afraid of the challenge, afraid of snakes, that’s what I’m thinking too. Then there’s another thing, there’s a scene where I shower in the waterfall, which is another hour away," she revealed.

2. Satisfied with Her Shooting Results

For her, this experience is a remarkable form of struggle in earning a living. Even though she had to endure the cold, Olla felt satisfied after seeing the temporary results of the series. She is confident that the visual beauty captured by the camera will be worth the fatigue she felt while on location.

"Yes, at that moment I was crying, oh Allah, oh my God, earning money like this is really hard. But the results are amazing, like the series, right? Really! Just hearing about it made me shiver, especially Kak Olla," she said.

3. Praise for the Cohesion of the Entire Production Team

Olla also praised the cohesion of the entire team involved in the scene. Although the facilities on set were very limited, the spirit to produce quality work remained strong. She hopes that the audience can appreciate the hard work of all the actors and crew when the series is officially released on the Viu platform.
