Kapanlagi.com - Besides being known as a broadcaster, Gofar Hilman also has a culinary business. Not many people know that his entrepreneurial spirit has emerged since he was in school.

Admitted by Gofar, during high school, his life was not like his peers who were surrounded by wealth. Because he couldn't pay the school fees, Gofar decided to sell plastic bags at that time.

"I used to sell plastic bags when I was in 12th grade, when I couldn't pay (school fees)," said Gofar Hilman in an interview with Soleh Solihun, quoted from 3SECOND TV (28/09).

1. Smartly Searching for Opportunities

The idea of selling plastic bags came to Gofar after he noticed the proliferation of sandal storage businesses during Friday prayers at a mosque near his school. Equipped with knowledge from one of his religious teachers, Gofar made up his mind to start selling.

"I asked my religious teacher if it's allowed to bring footwear into the mosque. He said it's fine as long as they're clean and wrapped. Since someone opened a sandal storage business in the mosque, I decided to sell plastic bags. It sold really well," he explained.

2. Able to Pay for School Fees

From selling once a week, Gofar managed to earn up to Rp 70,000 in profit. However, unfortunately, he didn't use the money to pay for his school fees.

"I could make Rp 70,000 from one sale, while the school fees were only Rp 45,000. But I didn't use it to pay for school, instead, I treated my friends," he said with a laugh.
