Yura Yunita's Confessions When Making a Song, Feeling Lonely and Depressed

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Yura Yunita has just held an intimate concert with her fans through an i-Concert event at M Bloc Space, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/1). Yura Yunita opened her performance with the energetic songs Apakah Kamu and Takkan Apa, which made the audience sing along.

"The title is an intimate concert, the concept is warm so that it feels closer, more romantic. So those who come tonight come with the person next to them, try to look at them," said Yura Yunita.

The atmosphere became more solemn when Yura Yunita performed the song Berawal Dari Tatap while playing the piano.

1. Sharing When Lonely

After performing her favorite song in the album Merakit, titled Get Along With You, Yura Yunita shared about her feelings of loneliness. At that time, she was inspired to create a song titled Buka Hati (Open Heart).

"At that time, I felt lonely. I couldn't sleep at midnight at home, and this song was created inspired by my prayers in the middle of the night, hoping that someone we love can open their heart. Hopefully, this song can represent those who you hope can open their heart. This song is sacred to Yura, and it's called buka hati (open heart)," said Yura Yunita.

2. Downfall and Rise

Next, Yura Yunita shared a story about a song titled Malam Sepi (Lonely Night) that was inspired by her friend's story. "The story is that my friend is getting married in three months, but she's always confused, she's not sure about the person she's with. Because she's still curious about someone out there who used to be her ex. Should I go back or stay with the current person? Finally, I was inspired to create this song," she said.

After making the audience melancholic, the singer from Bandung shared about her worst moments. She then created a song titled Merakit (Assemble).

"This song was created two years ago. I was at my lowest point, but I managed to rise again. For myself, this song is not just healing for me. This song can remind all of us that we have weaknesses and strengths, and we shouldn't let our limitations stop us from assembling our dreams," she said while performing the song Merakit and demonstrating sign language.

3. Closed with Must Be Happy

Yura Yunita closed her performance with three of her hit songs, namely Intuisi, Cinta dan Rahasia, and Harus Bahagia. This concert, promoted by Rajawali Indonesia, can be enjoyed not only by the audience present but also by IndiHome customers at home. CEO of Rajawali Indonesia, Anas Syahrul Alimi, stated that this event is to fulfill the demand of viewers who cannot watch the concert live.

"The initial idea of i-Concert came about because when we organize concerts, there are many visitors who cannot watch. For example, with Yura, we sold out tickets in five minutes for about five hundred people. We thought about how people who cannot watch Yura live can watch elsewhere at a cheaper price," said Anas Syahrul Alimi during a press conference before the concert.
