Similar to Kadek Devi, this Selebgram is ready to release a new single created by Dewiq

Kapanlagi.com - Some of you may know Diana Dee Starlight as a Selebgram. However, Diana has recently started to focus on the world of singing. The beautiful singer born in Tomohon Manado, April 9, 1985, will soon release her latest single.

Under the auspices of Big Indie NAGASWARA, Diana will release a song titled Warna Warni in February. The song, which carries a humanitarian theme, is the work of talented musicians Dewiq, Pay, and Dmn IX.

Diana's journey to enter the music world was not smooth. She actually had plans to release an album, but unfortunately, her dreams were shattered because her producer was cheated. At that time, her mental state was very low, and she chose to focus on her studies even though she still received off-air jobs. 

"Why did my album fail back then? Because my producer was cheated. The money was used by the production team, no need to mention their name. My album was stopped, my producer didn't want to continue because he had already spent a lot of money," she said when met at Mall Kota Kasablanka, South Jakarta, Monday (27/1).

1. Early Days in Jakarta

Diana also reminisced about her early days when she first arrived in Jakarta. She admitted that she never thought of becoming a singer, an influencer, or an actress like she is now.

"I came to Jakarta after graduating from high school. I stayed at my aunt's house. And my aunt introduced me to one of the musicians who happened to live next to my aunt's house. He is an actor and also a musician and singer," she continued.

2. Resemblance to Kadek Devi

At first glance, the influencer with nearly 1 million followers on Instagram looks similar to Kadek Devi. Diana considers it a blessing because she has received several offers for acting roles due to this resemblance.

"People have been saying that I look like Kadek Devi for a long time, is it true? Because I have met her before, and she said, 'Why do you look like me?' Then we both looked at ourselves in the mirror. During the time of FTV, I was once introduced to her," Diana concluded.
