Chef Arnold and Codeblu were rumored to receive a payment of Rp 1 billion each for one fight. Regarding this news, Chef Arnold denied and emphasized that he did not receive any payment at all.
"I didn't receive any payment, because I have a sponsor," said Chef Arnold at The H Club SCBD, South Jakarta, on Wednesday night (4/17).

Chef Arnold explained that the payment he received came only from sponsors. He admitted that he wanted to fight Codeblu to promote boxing in Indonesia.
"I want to promote boxing and never challenge anyone to step into the ring," said Chef Arnold.
"I prove it with skill," he added.
Not only that, counting the days leading up to the weigh-in and the fight, Chef Arnold said that he has successfully lost weight. Chef Arnold has managed to lose 12 kg of weight.
"I also have to lose weight up to 12 kg," he said.
