Chelsea Islan, who plays the character of Suci in the series TIRA, talks about her preparation for this project. Because she had to perform many action scenes, Chelsea Islan had to practice using a sling.
"The preparation itself went through many stages. There was the sling, practicing with the sling, we all went to a place and practiced with the sling there. It was quite high," said Chelsea Islan during a press conference in Thamrin, Central Jakarta, on Monday (11/12).
The character of Suci in this series is actually afraid of heights, and in real life, Chelsea Islan also has a fear of heights. Therefore, when performing those scenes, Chelsea Islan tried to overcome her fear.
"Suci is actually afraid of heights, just like me. From this project, I felt that I had to overcome my fear. So, Tira truly lived the character of Suci in real life. So when we were learning, we had to climb to high ceilings. Even though I was trembling, I had to do it. It was actually through this process that the character of Suci became stronger and grew," she explained.
In addition to Chelsea Islan, the series TIRA also stars Bhisma Mulia as Ben, Karina Suwandi as Widya, Jeremie J. Tobing as Haikal, Agnes Naomi as Maudy, Asri Welas as Wenny, Egi Fedly as Angkasa, and Marcell Siahaan as Gun.
