First Time Playing in an Action Series, Chelsea Islan Admits Not Experiencing Injuries from Beginning to End of Shooting

Kapanlagi.com - Beautiful actress Chelsea Islan is involved in the latest series produced by Screenplay Films and Bumilangit titled TIRA. In this series, the 28-year-old star plays Suci, a college student who aspires to be a skilled stuntwoman.

This is Chelsea Islan's first experience in a superhero series. In an interview at the Kapanlagi Youniverse office on Monday (27/11), Chelsea shared her experience during the filming process of the series TIRA.

She explained that this series was challenging with many action scenes that required choreography. In preparation, Chelsea and the other cast members underwent a long process that started with three months of training, script reading, and character portrayal that required teamwork among the actors.

1. Many Action Scenes

"Surely there are many challenges and also many new experiences because this is an action film. Besides superheroes, this is mostly action, and it's also full of choreography," said Chelsea Islan.

"From three months of training, from there the script, riding, we read the script, script surgery, chemistry between the actors, getting to know each other," she added.

2. Safety of the Actors is the Production Team's Priority

Shooting action scenes certainly requires caution and focus on safety. Chelsea emphasized that the production team always prioritizes the safety of the actors. Although extreme scenes have been well prepared, they must always be careful and vigilant.

"Actually, the process is quite long, so you can say that jumping or throwing scenes are definitely there because this is an action series. But safety is the most important thing for the actors. For extreme scenes, well, you have to watch," she said.

3. No Injuries at Shooting Location

In playing this role, Chelsea is fortunate not to have suffered any serious injuries. She is grateful that from training to the completion of shooting, she and her colleagues remained safe.

"I thank God that everything went smoothly, from the first day of training to the last day of shooting, thank God nothing happened. I mean, none of the other actors got injured either. Because once again, we have to be prepared when entering the set," she concluded.

As it is known, the series TIRA will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar starting from December 16, 2023. In addition to Chelsea Islan, several famous actors and actresses are involved in this series, such as Jeremy Juanito, Bhisma Mulia, Karina Suwandi, Agnes Naomi, and many others.
