Chikita Meidy Exposes Her Husband's Behavior, No Longer Supporting Their Child & 5 Months Behind on Mortgage Payments

In the midst of a complicated divorce process, Chikita Meidy must face the bitter reality that her husband, Indra Aditya, has stopped providing for their only child, Jevier. Not only that, but the mortgage payments for the house they live in have also been overdue for five months, following the hearing at the Tigaraksa Religious Court on Tuesday (7/10/2025).

Chikita Meidy revealed that her husband has not provided support for their child for four months. According to her lawyer, this can legally be considered a sign of divorce under religious law.

"Stop it already. This is the fourth month. Even for Jevier, nothing has been given," said Chikita Meidy.

This situation is worsened by the mortgage arrears amounting to around 70 million rupiah. Chikita is worried that the house will be seized by the bank, even though she and her child still live there. She also expressed her readiness to take over the payments.

"I also ask for attention from the judges and the Tigaraksa Religious Court to make a quick decision because this is related to a mortgage that has been in arrears for 7 months. Correction, 5 months. About 70 million," explained Chikita.

Chikita admitted she is ready to continue the mortgage payments, but the takeover process is hindered because Indra, as the main debtor, does not show good faith to cooperate. Chikita only needs her husband to provide a power of attorney so that the transfer of the debtor to the bank can be carried out.

"Take over, please. His wife is still capable. We face the bank. Because she is the one who opened that authority. The debtor is him. So if he grants power of attorney, then I just need to have it checked again, analyzed again by the bank, the debtor will be transferred to me. It's that simple, Indra," he explained.

Chikita's legal counsel, Yassirni, expressed disappointment at Indra's attitude, which seems to intentionally leave the fate of the house hanging. In fact, the house is a residence for his own flesh and blood.

"This involves the children. How can he be so cruel, leaving the children there, but doesn't want to take over, and also doesn't want to pay. Just hanging, what does he want?" concluded Yassirni.
