Kapanlagi.com - The family finally spoke out about the death of Babe Cabita, who had previously been treated at Mayapada Lebak Bulus Hospital, South Jakarta. Babe passed away on Tuesday (9/4/2024) at 06.38 WIB.
"He has been ill since June 2023. According to the doctor, he had a rare blood disorder called aplastic anemia," said a family representative at Babe Cabita's funeral home in Cirendeu, South Tangerang.
Since November 2023, the family has also brought Babe Cabita to RS Siloam for treatment. After several weeks of intensive care, the father of two children was transferred to RS Sunway Medical Center in Kuala Lumpur until January 2024.
"Because he felt he had recovered, he returned to Jakarta and in February he performed Umrah with his family," he said.
After performing Umrah, Babe Cabita's condition began to deteriorate and he dropped again. Finally, in February 2024, the family brought Babe Cabita back to Malaysia.
"About 10 days ago, his condition started to improve and he felt better, he wanted to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with his relatives in this residence, so he returned to Indonesia," he explained.
Unfortunately, it didn't last long because a week ago Babe Cabita's condition deteriorated again. The family finally took the 35-year-old man to RS Mayapada, Lebak Bulus.
"Then a week ago, Babe's condition dropped again. The family took him to the hospital until this morning Babe took his last breath," he explained.
Unfortunately, due to his worsening condition, on Tuesday (9/4/2024) at 06.38 WIB Babe Cabita took his last breath. The family admitted they have accepted the departure of their loved one.
"Alhamdulillah Insha Allah we have accepted it because we have made every effort within our ability to bring him for treatment and his recovery," he concluded.
