2 Days Before Passing Away, Babe Cabita Still Hoped to Get Better to Entertain Again

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Nugroho Achmad, or commonly known as Lolox, also lost the figure of Babe Cabita who passed away at the age of 34. As a friend, Lolox said that only a few people knew about the illness suffered by Babe Cabita.

Lolox mentioned that it was done because the late Babe Cabita still had high hopes of getting better. Moreover, Babe Cabita still wanted to continue working in the entertainment industry.

"The illness had been going on for a long time, and I already knew about it when she had the operation, but not all comedian friends were aware," said Lolox at the funeral home in Cirendeu, South Tangerang, on Tuesday, (9/4/2024).

1. Hoping to be Able to Entertain Again

The spirit to recover from Babe Cabita is extraordinary. He even assures his friends that he will recover and be able to return to the world of comedy.

"Just because he has a big hope for a comeback, he entrusted me, Oki, and Jegel, 'don't spread it yet because I will recover'," said Lolox.

Lolox admitted that he had visited Babe Cabita when he was still being treated at the hospital. While joking around, the late Babe Cabita expressed his desires and hopes.

"Two days before this, I went to the hospital, we were still joking around, still delivering punchlines. He even thought, 'why am I afraid of not being funny in front of comedians?'"," Lolox revealed.

2. Hopes of Recovery

At that time, Lolox believed that Babe Cabita's hope for recovery would come true. But, God had other plans, until Babe Cabita took his last breath and was declared dead.

"He was still talking like that, so at that moment when I saw it, someone said that there was no hope anymore, but if you looked into his eyes and listened to his conversations, there was hope and I myself believe it," he concluded.

It is known that Babe Cabita took his last breath at RS Mayapada, South Jakarta on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at around 06.38 AM. The disease that Babe Cabita suffered from is still unknown.

Previously, it was known that the late comedian suffered from a rare autoimmune disease called Aplastic Anemia. Aplastic Anemia is a disease that attacks the bone marrow, making it unable to produce blood cells.
