Kapanlagi.com - Last Thursday (11/3/2022), a video circulated showing police securing a black-painted Toyota Fortuner. The car apparently belongs to comedian Daus Mini.
It is known that at two in the morning, the Precision Pioneer Team of the Depok Metro Police conducted patrols in the Margonda Raya area, Depok, West Java. Suddenly, a car overtook and requested priority by turning on the siren.
Initially, the patrolling team thought that the action was carried out by an official. However, after observation, it turned out that the license plate was black.
After a chase, the Toyota Fortuner was stopped under the Universitas Indonesia flyover. After being interrogated, the driver was then taken to the Depok Police Station and handed over to the Criminal Investigation Unit.

The driver of the car that turned on the siren and overtook the patrolling police was not Daus Mini. It was a friend who was driving alone.
"The owner of the car is Daus Mini. But the name on the registration is not Daus Mini, that's just a nickname. His name is Ahmad Firdaus," said Briptu Lungi Jati, a member of the Precision Pioneer Team of the Metro Depok Police, to the media.
As a result of what Daus Mini's friend did, the police finally fined him with a threat of one month in prison or a fine of IDR 250,000. Because the driver was proven to have violated traffic law Article 287 Paragraph 4 of Law No. 22 of 2009 regarding the use of strobe lights and sirens.
Not only that, the ticketing was also caused by a discrepancy in the license plate number with the one listed on the vehicle registration certificate (STNK). Therefore, Article 280 was imposed, with a maximum imprisonment of two months or a fine of IDR 500,000.

When contacted by the media, Shelvia, Daus Mini's wife, said that her husband was shocked when he found out his car was ticketed. But now the problem has been resolved.
"He was shocked, yesterday his friend drove the car. The driver didn't understand, so he turned on the siren and that's why it became a problem. The car is safe. So everything is fine," explained Shelvie when contacted via text message on Friday (11/3/2022).
