Clara Gopa Refuses to Play on a 21-Meter High Water Slide

Kapanlagi.com - Actress Clara Gopa admits to being terrified of the 21-meter high water slide at Hawai Waterpark Malang. The jet coaster-style slide was so extreme that it made her shiver and refuse to try it again.

"I've experienced the extreme drop of that giant slide, I don't want to try it again, it's too high. I've had enough, it's too high. It feels like I'm about to give up my life. It's really scary, like I'm about to fly off," explained Clara Gopa at Hawai Waterpark Malang.

Clara, who was already wearing a swimsuit, shivered at the sight of the height of the water slide. Accompanied by her manager, Sony Bule, she immediately moved to another water ride.

The member of Duo Semangka spent their Eid holiday with their family at Hawai Waterpark Malang. They tried out various water rides, except for the water slide. They even tried the artificial tsunami, which is the iconic attraction of the water park.

"I'm already scared, even before trying it. But my family tried it, so they know what the sensation is like," she said.

2. Thrown by Waves

The artist from Malang joined hundreds of people who wanted to experience the sensation of a tsunami. Like other visitors, Clara also had to be thrown by the tsunami waves until she let go of the grip of other family members. Her body was soaked and rolled by the artificial ocean waves.

"The sensation is like it's really happening. Because there, it's like we can't help each other. So it's really individualistic, especially when the waves get higher, the longer they rise, the levels are different. It's like it's really happening," she said.

3. Guaranteed Safe

Ayu Widasari, Customer Service at Hawai Waterpark Malang, revealed that all rides have been equipped with certified security systems. So visitors don't need to worry as long as they follow the directions and instructions given by the team on site.

"So if there's a tsunami session, there will be a lifeguard, even young children are guaranteed safe. There are 5-6 lifeguards on duty, in addition to several officers monitoring from above. So safety is a top priority," she explained.

4. Recommended to Relax

The tsunami pool can be adjusted to produce waves up to a maximum of 3 meters. During the session, visitors are advised to relax, not panic, and follow the flow. The arrival of the waves will be conveyed through instructions from the stage.

"Just relax, enjoy it. Follow the waves, there are officers on duty. Follow the flow, so don't panic, if you panic, you'll drown," Ayu added.

Ayu emphasized that the security system of the rides has been internationally certified and all of them are regularly maintained.
