Clara Shinta is Sued for IDR 10.7 Billion by Her Husband's Mistress

Instagram celebrity Elizabeth Klara Shinta Haritonang, commonly known as Clara Shinta, is currently facing a series of trials. After exposing her husband Muhammad Alexander Assad's alleged infidelity, she received a summons from the woman believed to be the third party.

The woman, with the initials Indah, has filed a compensation claim with a very fantastic value against Clara Shinta. This was triggered by Clara's action of viralizing evidence of her husband's alleged misconduct with the woman on social media.

"So I received a summons letter from Ms. Indah requesting compensation for her disturbed psyche. Her psyche and the disruption of Ms. Indah's work with a quite fantastic value, 10.7 billion rupiah," said Clara Shinta when met by KapanLagi in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (14/4/2026).

Clara Shinta feels that the lawsuit is very unreasonable considering that she is the party harmed in this domestic matter. For her, what she did previously was merely a form of social sanction against the reprehensible actions she discovered.

She realizes that her post indeed has legal implications, but she did not expect to be sued for billions of rupiah by the opposing party. Clara emphasizes that she will not remain silent in the face of this counterattack from the woman.

Sunan Kalijaga, as Clara Shinta's legal counsel, stated that his client is in a very difficult position. He described Clara's condition as having fallen, yet still being hit by a ladder due to the summons.

"So it needs to be known and emphasized that if we put it simply, people say, eh Klara has fallen and is being hit by another ladder. Hit again, eh a summons letter that what is it called? it mentions related to compensation that might also be extraordinary, up to billions," said Sunan Kalijaga.

The background of this issue began when Clara uploaded evidence of a screenshot of her husband's lewd video with another woman. She did this because she felt shattered to see the betrayal that occurred in her household, which had always seemed harmonious.

Now, Clara Shinta's side is preparing an official response to the summons. They also plan to take similar legal action because they feel that Clara is the one who suffers the most in terms of psychological and material losses.

This dispute is predicted to heat up even more in court. Clara Shinta claims she is ready to face all legal processes to defend her dignity as a betrayed wife.
