Nikita Mirzani's resistance action suddenly made the atmosphere tense for about 30 minutes, before the officers finally managed to persuade her to return to the detention center.
Inda appeared to be trying to put a detention vest on Nikita. Nikita herself refused to wear the vest before the recording evidence was played.
"You will have time to submit the evidence. After we are done with our witnesses," Inda explained after the hearing.
Not stopping there, Inda also asked Nikita to cooperate and return to the Pondok Bambu detention center as per the judge's decision.
"As the public prosecutor, I am executing the judge's decision. The current decision against the defendant is to return to the Pondok Bambu detention center, the hearing is adjourned and will continue next week," she added.
According to Tribunnews.com, Inda is the Public Prosecutor (JPU) assigned to the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office. She is recorded as a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Airlangga University, Surabaya.
She then continued her master's studies at the Muslim University of Indonesia, Makassar. In addition to handling the Nikita case, she is also recorded as a JPU in other cases at the West Jakarta District Court.
