“Two weeks have passed and everything seems fine, but deep down my heart feels heavy... I can't eat well, can't sleep peacefully, and there are many unresolved feelings of anger, pain, and sadness in my heart,” Zaskia writes in the caption with a sad tone.

The colonization that has caused injuries, loss of family members, homes, and even the freedom to live in peace for the Palestinian people has deeply affected many hearts. However, the extraordinary faith of the Palestinian people in facing this pain is something that Zaskia highlights to draw lessons from.
“There are many lessons that we can learn from the current situation... It allows us to be more grateful for even the smallest blessings we receive, seeing how great the level of faith our brothers and sisters there have, even the young children.. It makes us reflect, 'Have we truly been faithful, sincere in accepting all of Allah's decrees, and firmly holding onto Islam, etc.?'” Zaskia writes.

Zaskia also reminds on her social media to continue praying for Palestine.
