Condolences, Bambang Tjahyo Gunawan, Ivan Gunawan's Father, Passed Away

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news came from the family of one of Indonesia's celebrities. The father of Ivan Gunawan, Bambang Tjahyo Gunawan, passed away on Sunday (12/7/2020).

Renowned Indonesian designer, Adjie Notonegoro, revealed that Ivan Gunawan's father passed away due to Gerd or irritation of the digestive tract. Adjie added that Igun's father did not previously show any signs of the disease.

"It was sudden due to Gerd. He had a check-up, his heart was healthy, everything was fine. Suddenly he had Gerd. He felt shortness of breath and was taken to the hospital. He still got out of the car by himself, walked to the doctor's place by himself, and went up to the bed by himself," said Adjie when met at the funeral home in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, on Sunday (12/7/2020).

1. Currently Mourning

Through his personal Instagram account, Ivan Gunawan revealed that he is currently mourning. Therefore, the famous Indonesian celebrity and designer does not wish to be further questioned about the death of his father.

"Please understand, my media friends, do not contact me for the time being. I am currently mourning," wrote Ivan Gunawan.

2. Former Diplomat Who Loves Golf and Singing

According to Ivan Gunawan's book titled Aku Berkarya Dengan Cinta (Creating with Love), Ivan's father was a diplomat. He started his duty in the 80s era. Hong Kong was his first country. Afterwards, Bambang moved to various countries, including Ukraine and Bangkok.

According to Ivan's Instagram, his father was someone who loved singing. On several occasions, he enjoyed holding a microphone. On other occasions, he was busy playing the organ.

In addition to singing, Bambang also loved playing golf. He has tried several golf courses, sometimes playing with his friends from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
