The award ceremony for dangdut singers, Indonesia Dangdut Award 2024 (IDA 2024) was held last night, October 24, 2024, and broadcast on Indosiar. Many dangdut singers were nominated for the Most Popular Male Solo Dangdut Singer, including King Nassar.

King Nassar received a trophy from Rizky Billar. For a moment he was shocked because he thought it was just a joke. He even checked the winner's card for the category held by Lesti.
When asked for his opinion, this is what King Nassar said. "Alhamdulillah, just be grateful. Being popular is as I said. Being popular means being yourself and not being someone else. Winning or losing, we indeed have something that is a reality like that," he said.
When asked if this award would be a burden, this is his answer. "Alhamdulillah, it’s not a burden, but a reference on how to maintain popularity responsibly and to be a good singer."
"Maintaining popularity is harder than achieving it. I have it now, but how do I make sure people continue to believe that I am a popular singer, a good one, basically someone liked by all circles," said King Nassar while carrying the trust as the winner of the Most Popular Male Dangdut Singer award.
Coincidentally, King Nassar has just released a new song titled 'Samira'. Regarding the song, he revealed, "That's my latest music video. It's a song I wrote myself, my very latest work. I'm really excited because I wrote the song myself, so I'm excited."
He also performed his new song on the Indosiar stage. "I wrote this song at the end of last year. Thank God, all because of God's permission. So, I always believe that whatever we present, if God speaks, it will definitely become something," he concluded.
He admits that he usually sings other people's songs, and now he is happy because he can sing his own song. King Nassar also revealed that the song 'Samira' relates to his personal life.
This is King Nassar's answer when asked whether it is easier to perform other people's songs or his own: "Easy and not easy is relative. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses. But every singer should be able to sing their own work or someone else's work," he concluded.
