Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Coki Pardede was arrested by the Narcotics Unit of Tangerang Metro Police last Wednesday (9/1/2021). He was apprehended at his residence in Cisauk, South Tangerang, with one clip of meth and a smoking device as evidence.

Previously, it was widely reported that Coki consumed illegal drugs by injecting them through the rectum. However, this was denied by Milano Lubis, his legal counsel.

According to him, there was a misunderstanding regarding Coki's statement. That in fact, the blonde-haired man was only explaining what he saw on YouTube channels.

"The usage is normal, far from what was reported. What he meant was that he was describing what can be used, what can be used, what can be used. Actually, it's more about being able to see which content, which channel, it's easy," said Milano when met in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (9/8/2021).

Because the arrest video has spread widely, many have referred to Coki Pardede as a homosexual. When asked about this fact, Milano Lubis did not want to discuss it.

"Basically, we don't want to talk about the past anymore. We want Coki to be immediately rehabilitated in the best place and be focused on his recovery," Milano continued.

Currently, Coki's drug abuse case has been transferred to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police. Previously, the case was handled by the South Tangerang Metropolitan Police.

"The current progress of the case is being handled by the Jakarta Metropolitan Police. Yesterday, Coki was re-examined regarding the investigation. Currently, Coki is still in the rehab facility determined by the police. Because yesterday, he was taken there (rehabilitation center) from the Tangerang Police. There was a handover there, and he does need treatment because he is a user. So, for now, he is there," Milano concluded.
