Continuing to Create Amidst the Pandemic, Idea Pasha Releases a New Single for the Music Group Mily Titled 'Jangan Buru Buru'

Kapanlagi.com - After success with Marvells Band, musician Idea Pasha formed a new music group called Mily. In fact, Mily, led by Idea Pasha (Guitar), Chiara Aurelia (vocals), and Joshua Kresna (saxophone), has just released a single titled Jangan Buru Buru (Don't Hurry).

When met in Tanjung Barat, South Jakarta, on Wednesday afternoon (29/7), Idea Pasha explained how Mily was formed. He said it all started when he had to innovate in his music career.

"I wanted something different. Besides Marvells, there was a duo before, the concept was still like a band. If we want to go far from distortion, it seems exciting, and finally Mily was created," said Idea Pasha.

Pasha also mentioned that Mily is a music group that goes beyond their comfort zone in creating. Meanwhile, in the same opportunity, Chiara Aurelia shared how she joined Mily.

"The chords are different from Marvells. That's why this project is great and good. Moreover, this project is the first collaboration with a female vocalist. So why not give it a try," said Idea Pasha.

1. Want to Have a Career in a Music Group

"I thought, it would be cool to form a music group during the pandemic. Finally, I met Kak Idea. We talked and had the same vision and mission, wanting to work in this industry," said Chiara Aurelia.

Chiara, who is familiarly called Chia, revealed that she indeed wants to have a career with a music group. She reasoned that being alone as a solo singer would feel lonely.

"I feel lonely with a solo career. So, I initially wanted to form a music group. Finally, I met Kak Idea," said Chia.

2. Different from Other Groups

In addition, Chia feels that Mily is very different from other music groups because their music genre is pop with a touch of saxophone. For the single 'Jangan Buru Buru' (Don't Rush), she wrote the lyrics herself.

"There were several options. But since I wrote it, it just felt right. This song was formed during the pandemic. It tells the story of a girl and a boy who are close but limited, because the boy cannot give an answer and the girl wants to rush for an answer," concluded Chiara Aurelia.
