Comedian and presenter Sule finally issued an apology to the public after receiving criticism for creating video content at Vidi Aldiano's mourning house. The video sparked both support and backlash on social media as some netizens felt it was inappropriate to record in the midst of a mourning atmosphere.

As is known, Sule had uploaded a video showing the atmosphere around Vidi Aldiano's mourning house. The content then became widely discussed by netizens, even provoking criticism for being seen as overly profit-seeking from a grieving moment.

In response to the emerging criticisms, Sule finally spoke out in his interview with InsertLive. He admitted to accepting all input from the public and has no objection to apologizing if his actions are deemed wrong.

"Yes, we just accept it; if we receive input, if we are indeed wrong, then we apologize. I have no indications whatsoever, what is clear is that I apologize to everyone," Sule said as quoted by KapanLagi.com from YouTube InsertLive, Tuesday, (10/3).

According to him, the post indeed sparked differing opinions among netizens. Besides criticism, some also expressed gratitude for being able to understand the atmosphere at the mourning location. Sule also explained that he did not enter the area of the mourning house. He only recorded the condition outside to show the situation happening around the location."And I didn't go inside either. It was just outside, the atmosphere on the street," he explained.

Responding to allegations that he created content for profit or gain, Sule denied this. He emphasized that the video was not monetized."In terms of looking for profit there, we did not monetize it. Just informing people about the situation there," he asserted.

Nonetheless, as a form of responsibility for the controversy that arose, Sule admitted that he has deleted the video from the platform where he uploaded it."But it has been taken down," he concluded.
