According to Mila, the kindness of the late Vidi was not only felt by his closest circle of friends but also by everyone who knew him through his musical works. For Jessica Mila, Vidi is the type of person who is always there for his friends in any situation.
This makes many people feel a deep loss for someone who was always seen as bringing good energy. Wherever Vidi went, he always managed to make the atmosphere happier and warmer for anyone nearby.
"Everyone surely knows Vidi as a very good person, his heart is very sincere, very cheerful, always brings positive energy wherever he goes. He is always there for the people who love him, for his friends, for his family, and always makes the people around him happy," said Jessica Mila when met by KapanLagi.com at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, on Monday (9/3/2026).
There is one memory that Jessica Mila cannot forget, which is during her wedding ceremony some time ago. Vidi, who was in declining health at the time, still forced himself to attend and sing.
Although Mila's family has given permission for Vidi to rest, the singer remains determined to give her best performance for her friend.
"But at the moment she had to sing, she still strengthened herself to perform very well, with her spirit and her smile, and there was never any feeling that made me sad because at that time she was sick. So even then, she made me happy and forget that she was actually not feeling well at that moment," recalled Jessica Mila.
Their friendship has indeed been very close for a long time. Jessica Mila often spends time with Vidi, whether on holiday abroad or just hanging out at home. Vidi is known as a unifying figure who can bring together different circles of friends into one cohesive group.
"So close, because he is someone who can get close to everyone, right? Like everyone must love Vidi like that. So... we often gather with Vidi, we spent quite a long time together back then in the US, and we often hang out at Vidi's house," explained Jessica Mila.
