Davina Karamoy Appears Fierce and Macho in Her Latest Film, Her Character Surprises

Kapanlagi.com - Davina Karamoy is ready to show a different side of herself in her latest film titled DON'T WANT IT TO END HERE, directed by Robert Ronny. In this film, she plays Vero, a character that is very different from the characters she has played before.

Known for her role as a homewrecker in previous film projects, this time Davina faces a new challenge that makes her both grateful and excited.

"Of course, I am happy and grateful that Mr. Ronny entrusted this character to me because I think the character Vero is really different from Davina herself and also from my previous characters," said Davina when met at XXI Epicentrum, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Tuesday (29/4/2025).

Davina's acting this time showcases a stronger physical and emotional side. The character Vero is portrayed as fiercer, assertive, and not feminine like her previous roles. "So I feel this is just a new challenge," she added.

1. A New Experience

According to Davina, the most striking transformation of Vero can be seen from his body language and the masculine energy he has to portray. "Just physically, he’s already different, plus his character is quite tough and, you could say, macho. He’s also fierce," she said.

Not only about character, Vero's role as a photographer makes Davina have to understand a new world that she has never explored. "It’s really an exciting experience for me, besides learning to be a photographer as well," she revealed.

The film DO NOT WANT IT TO END HERE is a remake of the Korean film MORE THAN BLUE (2009), and has been a huge success in its Taiwanese adaptation in 2018. This film is scheduled to be released on June 5, 2025, and also stars Vanesha Prescilla, Bryan Domani, Tanta Ginting, Ryan Wijaya, and Jinan Safa.
