Deddy Corbuzier Speaks Out About Divorce Issues, Angry at the South Jakarta Religious Court

Not long ago, rumors of divorce between him and Sabrina Chairunnisa spread, Deddy Corbuzier finally spoke out but highlighted the religious court's side.

"I think it’s the right time for me to finally talk about the rumors and gossip of divorce that have been going around. I don’t care if people want to judge me or criticize me, the news says I’m stingy or whatever, I don’t care. They say I’m lavender, I don’t care, they say I’m crazy, I don’t care. The only one who knows me is me," said Deddy.

"What I’m concerned about is one thing, which is the media to the religious court, there are the public relations ladies from the South Jakarta religious court who can say the documents are NOT there. What do you mean NOT there? There’s really nothing!" he asserted.

"And the most important thing is not that. Isn't it true, Mother, that divorce court proceedings are closed, yes, according to law number 7 of 1989 article 80 paragraph 2, the examination of divorce lawsuits is conducted in a closed session," Deddy stated.

Deddy also emphasized that according to the law, the divorce process should be conducted privately. He even quoted the legal article that regulates this matter.

"You got hit by me. But you spread that there's a celebrity getting divorced and so on," he revealed. Deddy stressed that the information being spread should not be made public.

Deddy also posed a pointed question regarding the integrity and ethics of those spreading rumors about his divorce. "Assuming it's allowed, then my last question is where is your morality?" Deddy asked angrily.
