Denada Has Acknowledged Ressa Rossano, the 7 Billion Lawsuit Continues

Amid the emergence of a video confession from Denada acknowledging Ressa Rizky Rossano as her biological child, the legal process regarding the 7 billion Rupiah lawsuit filed by Ressa is said to continue. This was stated by Ressa's legal counsel, Ronald, when met in the Tendean area of South Jakarta on Tuesday (3/2/2026).

According to Ronald, the lawsuit was filed on the basis of unlawful acts or onrechtmatige daad, which requires the presence of elements of loss. He emphasized that cases that have already been registered in court cannot be changed just like that, even with the acknowledgment from Denada's side.

"If we talk about the concept of onrechtmatige daad, there must be an element of loss. This lawsuit has already been filed," said Ronald.

Ronald explained that in the lawsuit, there are several requests submitted, including acknowledgment and an apology. The value of the lawsuit is IDR 7 billion, which he stated is part of the legal formulation that has been officially submitted to the court.

"Why is the formulation of 7 billion there? This lawsuit, even though there is no acknowledgment, cannot be changed arbitrarily. This is a formulation that has been established as a standard procedure in court, just waiting for the trial and decision," he explained.

He added that if Denada wants to stop the case, it can be done through direct communication and amicable resolution."If Denada really wants to stop this case, then come here, have a good conversation, make an acknowledgment, apologize, and it's done," Ronald continued.

Meanwhile, Ressa expressed her gratitude for the acknowledgment made by Denada through the video. However, she believes that the acknowledgment is not enough without a direct meeting. "Alhamdulillah. Of course, I'm happy. But I also want to build a good relationship," said Ressa.

Ressa also confirmed that there has been no direct communication from Denada's side since the acknowledgment video was released. "Not yet, there’s nothing," she said briefly.

When asked about the possibility that Denada made the acknowledgment video due to public pressure, Ressa chose not to speculate. She emphasized that her current focus is the desire to meet her mother."Ressa doesn’t really know about that. What’s certain is that Ressa is happy, but Ressa wants to meet," she concluded.
