"Yes, I just returned from Singapore and the ticket price was several times higher than usual," she said when met on Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, Wednesday (9/4/2025).
The expensive flight tickets did not deter Denada's determination. She chose an alternative route to have dinner with Aisyah on the night of Takbir.
"Yes, I left from Jakarta to Batam and then took the ferry. I made sure to arrive in Singapore by night to have dinner with Aisyah," she said.
Denada admitted that in Singapore there is no takbir atmosphere like in Indonesia. This makes her miss the typical Eid moments back home. "Yes, there is no takbir there, while here it’s exciting with the takbir," she said.
However, despite the different atmosphere, Denada still enjoyed the time with her daughter. She described the experience of celebrating Eid with Aisyah in Singapore as a warm and loving moment.
"Yes, after that we went to a bakery together, we took a different route home, that was our first experience together," she reminisced.
She realizes that although it is simple, moments like this are what will always be remembered and cherished forever.
