Dangdut singer Inul Daratista is known to have a very close personal relationship with Titiek Puspa, the legendary artist & singer from the homeland who is currently lying in the hospital. Inul Daratista mentioned that Titiek Puspa is one of the people who has continuously supported her from the beginning of her career until now. In fact, Titiek Puspa considers her as her own grandchild.
"I even once collapsed because I had no money at all, because I had to pay this house installment of almost Rp300 million a month back then. I was blacklisted everywhere. I wanted to sell my car and just go back to my hometown," said Inul.
"One of the people who supports me is Eyang Titiek Puspa. Until today, she still acknowledges me as her grandchild, for which I am incredibly grateful," said Inul Daratista to KapanLagi.com in 2024.
Titiek Puspa, who heard the story from Inul, then forbade the singer from doing such things. Titiek Puspa invited Inul to work with her.
"You shouldn't talk like that. Let's find money together." Finally, I was invited by Eyang Titik to do a roadshow for two months. I earned money to pay the house installment, so I could be at ease," said Inul.
"Thank you to Eyang Titiek who not only embraced me as a grandchild but also provided me with an extraordinary blessing at that time," said Inul with teary eyes.
In her post, Inul repeatedly expressed her affection for Titiek Puspa. "I Love You Eyang, stay healthy, after work let's chat again," wrote Inul in one of her post captions.
