Zaskia Gotik's Portrait Reveals She Once Wanted IVF for a Boy

Initially, Zaskia was worried that her third child would be a girl again. But her husband's relaxed reaction made her feel more at ease."I told my husband, what if it’s a girl again? He said, Alhamdulillah, as long as the baby is healthy. And then, by God's will, we were given a baby boy. So we didn’t need any programs, didn’t need to spend money, Allah just gave it to us," she said.

According to the singer of 'Bang Jono', her husband is not the type to express his feelings through words. But from his gestures, Zaskia knows that Sirajuddin is very happy to finally have a son."He’s not the type to talk much. When he’s happy, he expresses it quietly. He is happy. So, Alhamdulillah, now he has a friend. He’s not handsome alone, now he’s even more handsome," she said.

Zaskia also admitted that she now feels satisfied with three children. But regarding "closing the factory," it cannot be confirmed yet because Sirajuddin has not made a decision."I hope so, but the father doesn't know. Yesterday the doctor asked him, 'Sir, do you want to install an IUD right away, because if it's a normal delivery, it doesn't hurt too much when the uterus is still open.' The father said to wait. Well, let's just go with the flow," she explained.

She also shared about the difference in the birthing process of this third child compared to the previous ones. If her two previous children were born through quick contractions, this time it felt slow until her water broke first."The difference is the feeling, the contractions. For the girl, I felt the contractions were fast. Because thank God, for the first and second children, the contractions were very quick. But for the third, it was slow, until the water broke first, and then we went to the hospital," she revealed.

The condition made Zaskia undergo an induction process because her contractions weren't increasing. Fortunately, after the induction began, the baby was born in a very short time."There was a third and fourth dilation. But the contractions weren't increasing. The intervals were long. Finally, I was induced, oh my God, I was induced. But thank God, once the induction started, it didn't take two minutes for the baby to come out," she said.

The choice to give birth normally was not without reason. Zaskia wanted to follow in the footsteps of her parents and family who also gave birth normally."Yes, I chose normal because my parents gave birth normally, many in my family did too, I want to follow my parents' path," she said.

Now, Zaskia is enjoying the moments after giving birth, filled with sleepless nights and breastfeeding activities. Although tired, she remains grateful for everything because the process went smoothly and her baby is healthy."I am grateful, the birth was healthy and normal. I'm currently enjoying these sleepless nights, these breastfeeding moments, it's a joy," she concluded.
