Denada Elizabeth Anggia Ayu Tambunan does not deny that in her life journey, she has experienced bitter times. One of them is being cheated on. Although she does not mention who and when exactly the incident occurred, this mother of one claims to have made peace with her past and chooses to focus on positive things, especially her daughter Aisha's happiness.

"Well, in life there are ups and downs, and I have also experienced being cheated on," she said when met on Captain Tendean street, Mampang, South Jakarta, Wednesday (4/9/2025).

For the singer who started her career as a rapper in the 90s, that bitter experience did not make her a person with prolonged trauma. On the contrary, Denada turned that wound into a valuable lesson."Yes, I learned from the experience, and now the focus is not on things that make my heart tired, but on what makes Aisha happy," she emphasized.

Denada now channels her energy and time into being a strong and positive mother. She dedicates all her attention to the growth and development of Aisha, who underwent cancer treatment abroad. According to Denada, the experience of being cheated on is nothing compared to the struggle of raising a child alone."Yes, compared to my struggles as a single mother, being cheated on is just a small part of the life story," she said.

She admits to being very grateful because Aisha is now more mature, understands religion better, and also because of her mother’s condition who is often busy working. Denada feels that her struggles so far are starting to bear fruit."Yes, I am very grateful that Aisha now understands more about fasting, her prayers are also becoming more diligent, and she is becoming more mature," Denada said.

Going through Ramadan without the presence of her mother this year has also been an emotional moment for Denada. In the midst of her grief, she still tries to be sincere and make the most of her time with Aisha.

"Yes, usually during Eid I can still video call with mom, but now I can't anymore. It's sad, but I am grateful because I can still celebrate Eid with Aisha," she said.

When asked if past trauma has made her close the door to her heart, Denada just smiled. She did not deny that she still wants to marry again if there is indeed a suitable match from God."Yes, if there is still a match, I hope to be reunited soon with the best man," she said.

Nevertheless, Denada admitted that she is not in a hurry and prefers to live life with a sense of gratitude, especially for the blessing of health and the presence of Aisha by her side."Yes, now what matters is health, a calm heart, and Aisha's happiness. That is enough for me," Denada concluded.
