Departing for Umrah with Family, Indra Bekti and Aldila Jelita Have Prepared This for Smooth Worship

“My high blood pressure medication is brought along so that nothing happens. Hopefully, nothing will happen,” said Indra.

Aldila also does not want to miss preparing vitamins and light medications for her children.

“For the kids, like vitamins. Abel often gets very tired, and the older sibling often has a cough and flu. But this is what we call human effort, just prepare. Hopefully, when we get there, all the kids are healthy,” Dilla expressed.

This umrah journey will be the first experience for Indra and Aldila's children. Indra shared that although their children have been abroad before, umrah is a journey they have long dreamed of.

“Yes, for the first time. If abroad, it was last year to Sydney. They are very excited. Their dream is to perform umrah,” said Indra with a face full of pride.

Indra also provided an introduction about the umrah pilgrimage to his children so they would have an idea of what they would be experiencing. “Since they go to an Islamic school, they already know what umrah is like. Just yesterday we also did the manasik,” explained Indra.

This umrah moment is an opportunity for Indra and Aldila to pray for the future of their family. Indra expressed his special prayer, “May we always be together with mom. Until death do us part. May the children achieve their dreams, become great, and be good people for many others.”  

Aldila also has prayers and hopes that their family will always be given ease and protected from danger. “There are many already on the list. Hopefully, in the future, our family’s vision and mission will be made easier, kept away from harm. And the children will become righteous children,” she added.

This couple also does not rule out the possibility of living abroad for the sake of their children's education. “Haha yes, that is one of our dreams too, because we want our children to go to school there,” Indra said with a smile.

Aldila explained that Australia is the choice because of its proximity to Indonesia and there is family there who can help if needed. 

“They have their art dream in Australia, it is indeed the closest, there are still parents not far away, if anything happens it’s not far, there is family there too. We just need to prepare,” Aldila said.
