Detained at Metro Jaya Police Headquarters Due to Drugs, Reza Artamevia Has Not Yet Submitted a Rehabilitation Request

Kapanlagi.com - Recently, the public was shocked by the news of the arrest of Reza Artamevia on Saturday (9/5/2020) due to drugs. Reza's arrest adds to the list of celebrities who have been detained by the police during the pandemic.

The investigators of the Narcotics Detective Directorate of the Metro Jaya Regional Police stated that they have not yet received a rehabilitation request from singer Reza Artamevia. Currently, the singer of the song Berharap Tak Berpisah is being detained at the Narcotics Detention Center of the Metro Jaya Regional Police while undergoing legal proceedings and further examination.

"Until now, there has been no application, we are still waiting. The issue of rehabilitation will definitely be asked, but not yet by the investigators," said Yusri Yunus when met at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters on Monday (9/7).

Yusri also stated that submitting a drug rehabilitation application is the right of every individual. However, there are still mechanisms and rules that must be followed to submit the application.

"Indeed, it is a right, a right for someone, and of course there are regulations for it," he said.

Yusri explained that Reza was arrested by the Police on Friday, September 4, 2020, around 16:00 WIB at a restaurant on Jalan Raya Jatinegara, East Jakarta. In the arrest, the police found a clip of crystal meth weighing 0.78 grams stored in a bag.

After the arrest, the police then searched Reza's residence located in Cirendeu, South Tangerang and found a crystal meth pipe or bong and a lighter stored in a wallet.

As a result of his actions, Reza faces a maximum prison sentence of 12 years, and in the development of the drug case involving Reza, the police are now hunting for a drug dealer with the initial F who supplied the crystal meth consumed by the diva.
