Caught in Drug Case, Reza Artamevia Apologizes to Zahwa and Aaliyah Massaid

Kapanlagi.com - Once again caught in a drug case, singer Reza Artamevia expressed her regret. She apologized to her family, especially her two daughters Zahwa and Aaliyah Massaid.

"Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. Allow me, Reza Artamevia, to express my sincerest apologies to my children Zahwa and Aaliyah," said Reza Artamevia during a press conference at the Jakarta Metro Police on Sunday (6/9).

"To my parents, my siblings, my extended family, my teachers, my friends, and all those who have always supported my singing career. I apologize sincerely for the mistakes I have made," continued the singer of Berharap Tak Berpisah.

Reza Artamevia is also aware that his actions are not worthy of imitation. However, this certainly becomes a valuable lesson for him. In addition, he also thanks the police for their assistance during this time.

"Hopefully, this will not be imitated by anyone else and become a valuable lesson for me in particular. Please pray for me once again," said Reza Artamevia.

"I would like to thank the police, especially the Metro Jaya Regional Police, who have been professional during my time here, and I apologize sincerely to all parties. That is my statement. May Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you," he continued.

2. Chronology of Arrest

On September 4, Reza Artamevia was arrested at a restaurant in Jatinegara after buying methamphetamine from someone. The evidence found during the arrest was 0.78 grams of methamphetamine.

He admitted to using drugs for the past 4 months because during the pandemic, he spends more time at home.
