Didi Riyadi Prayed the Gaib Prayer Twice for Lucky Widja, Donated a Quran at Nabawi

The departure of Lucky Widja left a deep sorrow for Didi Riyadi. Unable to be by his friend's side when he took his last breath because he was performing umrah, Didi performed a special way to pray for the deceased from the Holy Land.

In the midst of his devotion in Medina, Didi took the time to perform a special act intended for Lucky. One of them was donating a Quran at the Nabawi Mosque in the name of his friend. He did this as a final tribute and a prayer for the deceased so that the rewards may continue to flow for him.

"I offer the best prayers, asking for forgiveness. And I dedicate the Quran at the Nabawi Mosque in the name of the late Lucky," said Didi Riyadi when met at the Jeruk Purut cemetery.

In addition to the endowment, Didi also performed the funeral prayer for Lucky Widja. Without holding back, he did it twice. First, he participated in the communal funeral prayer that is regularly held at the Nabawi Mosque after the obligatory prayers.

Second, he specifically requested his guiding ustaz to lead a special funeral prayer intended for Lucky.

"And I also performed the Funeral Prayer. So there, every time after the prayer, it is always followed by the Funeral Prayer conducted in congregation. I intended it for those who have passed away there, and I also intended it for the late Lucky. And after that, I performed the Funeral Prayer again by myself, led by my ustaz," explained Didi.

This drummer of the band Element admitted that he felt frustrated and powerless due to the distance that separated him from a friend he considered like a brother. However, he tried to regulate his emotions and believed that the prayers offered in the Holy Land would be answered by Allah SWT.

"I feel mixed emotions. There is frustration too, because I feel powerless due to the great distance. He has gone, and I am not in Jakarta with my friends," he revealed.

Upon arriving in Jakarta, Didi immediately rushed to Lucky's grave at TPU Jeruk Purut without wasting any time. He wanted to relieve his longing and pray for his friend directly at his final resting place.
