Disappointed Audience of 'Tonight Show' Program Farewell, NET TV Reveals the Reasons

He said that the show, hosted by Vincent Rompies, Desta, Hesti Purwadinata, and Enzy Storia, was only temporarily suspended.

1. Not the Last Episode

When contacted by the media on Friday (24/4), Dede explained that the episode of Tonight Show that aired on Thursday night, April 23, 2020, was not the last. The show was stopped because there was a change in the program pattern on NET TV during the month of Ramadan.

"No, it's not the last. During Ramadan, we change the pattern. Yes, there won't be any for a while because it's Ramadan, the viewership pattern during Ramadan is different from regular months," said Dede Apriadi.

2. When Will It Air Again?

Although it is temporarily stopped or rested, Dede cannot answer whether the Tonight Show program will air again after Ramadan. According to Dede Apriadi, there will only be certainty about its airing in the middle of the month.

"If we say for sure whether it will be back after Ramadan or not, we have to see the evaluation first, because almost all programs are evaluated monthly, always looking at the ratings, share, and revenue. So it will take a one-month break for now," he said.

"Maybe by the middle of Ramadan, there will be a decision on how it will go, so you can ask again later," he added.
