Doni Salmanan Released from Prison After 4 Years, Posts Photo with Wife

Although he is now free, Doni Salmanan's status is not entirely free as he is still required to report periodically to Bapas Bandung until October 30, 2029. In addition, Doni has also fulfilled his legal obligation by paying a fine of Rp1 billion.

Through a post on social media, Doni conveyed a long message. He expressed his deep gratitude for finally being able to reunite with his beloved wife and family after going through a difficult journey in life. He also openly apologized for past mistakes.

"As a human, of course I am not free from mistakes. With all humility, I ask for forgiveness if in my previous journey there were things that were less pleasing," said Doni.

"In this new phase, I want to move forward in a better way. As a husband, I have a responsibility to provide for and make my family happy. For that, I ask for prayers and support from all my friends so that I can return to creating and providing positive things through social media," he continued.

On the other hand, Dinan Nurfajrina also wrote a long, emotional message about the four-year wait. She described the journey as a time filled with prayers, tears, efforts, and wounds that were not easy to endure. According to her, only the strength from Allah allowed their household to survive until they could finally reunite.

"You have gone through all the legal processes, everything you once had is now gone. What remains is only your spirit and good intentions, Bismillah starting everything from the very beginning - may Allah ease your steps, may Allah lighten your burdens, may Allah protect you in goodness and well-being; FOREVER," expressed Dinan full of hope for her husband.

As is known, Doni was embroiled in a major case in early 2022 related to the promotion of the binary options platform Quotex. At that time, he was known as an affiliate who actively showcased a lavish lifestyle while inviting the public to join trading. The case then developed into an investment fraud and money laundering (TPPU) matter, which led to his imprisonment and the seizure of several assets.
