Feeling it was unfair, Fajar spontaneously carried out a prank to make his motorcycle "share the same fate" as him. "When I woke up, I thought, 'Oh, the motorcycle is fine, why am I the one who is hurt?'. So I just scraped it a bit to make it the same," he said with a laugh when met in the Tebet area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (4/8/2026).
General (Ret.) Dudung Abdurachman, Fajar's adoptive father, also chimed in on the story with a joking tone.
"The motorcycle is fine, I already asked about it. I also asked if the motorcycle is okay, is it safe? The asphalt is also safe," joked General Dudung.
On the other hand, Fajar also recounted that shortly after the accident, he met with a police patrol team led by Aipda Ambarita. Instead of being ticketed for not wearing a helmet, Fajar received a sympathetic reprimand and advice.
"Yes, say 'Be careful Fajar,' like that. He was reminded, next time wear a helmet, Jar. Riding must be careful, don't speed," he recalled.
Now, after learning a valuable lesson, Fajar promises to be more disciplined in riding, including always wearing a helmet for his safety.
As a result of this accident, Fajar had to postpone several of his jobs, both on television and with some brands, until he fully recovers.
