Donita Admits Missing Acting, Hasn't Received Approval from Her Children

Kapanlagi.com - After a long absence from the screen, actress Donita has revealed a deep longing for the acting world, especially soap operas. However, her desire to return to the shooting location seems to be postponed due to the lack of approval from her children.

The wife of Adi Nugroho admits that offers to star in soap operas and FTV are still coming in. However, she cannot accept them yet because her children have not allowed her to work with a busy schedule that takes up a lot of time.

1. Children are the Top Priority

For Donita, enjoying the golden moments with her two sons, Alfariz and Parva, is the top priority. She is well aware that the time spent together with young children is very precious and will never come again.

"If you pay attention, this phase when they are still looking for us doesn’t last long. So I want to enjoy that," she said when met in the Hj Tuty Alawiyah area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (23/10/2025).

2. The Simple Questions of the Beloved Child

Even though her husband, Adi Nugroho, is more relaxed and gives permission, it turns out that the strongest 'defense' comes from her children. Donita was even once checkmated by a simple question from her child when she expressed her longing to shoot.

"I once said, 'I miss you,' like that. Then he just said, 'Why don’t you miss me? Because when you go shooting, we don’t meet,'" Donita reminisced.

It didn't stop there, the child asked another question that was so striking it left him speechless.

"The question was just so striking, like he asked, 'don't you have any money?' Like that," he said while laughing.

4. Selective in Taking Jobs

The innocent question "why do you have to shoot a soap opera" from the child served as a reminder for Donita about what her priorities are at the moment. As a result, she chose to be more selective in taking jobs that do not take up too much time.

"So even if I take a job, it’s one that doesn’t leave home for too long, one that can be done in just 2-3 hours or so," she concluded.

5. Recovery from Cysts

Apart from work, Donita also shared her story about the cyst disease she once suffered from. After being miraculously declared cured thanks to her efforts in drinking zamzam water during umrah, Donita was motivated to adopt a healthy lifestyle in her daily routine.

The doctor who treated her also provided some important advice. According to Donita, some main factors to pay attention to are regular sleep hours, a balanced diet, and regular exercise.

"Actually, it’s said that cysts are hormonal issues. It’s more about sleep hours, eating, and then exercising, it’s pretty much like other things," she said.

Previously, Donita admitted to often experiencing extreme pain during menstruation since she was 18 years old, even to the point of fainting. However, at that time, she never suspected that there was a serious problem in her body.

"Since I was around 18 years old, when I had my period, I often had pain, often to the point of fainting and all that. I didn’t suspect anything," she revealed.

Now, after going through that phase, the wife of Adi Nugroho has become more vigilant. She realizes that maintaining hormonal balance through a healthy lifestyle is the key to preventing the disease from returning.
