Dudy Oris Successfully Releases New Single Amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic

Kapanlagi.com - Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, singer Dudy Oris's creativity has not stopped. As proof, he successfully released his latest single titled Aku Bukan Dia (I'm Not Him). In this project, Dudy Oris collaborated with the record label @legendamusikindo. In addition, he was assisted by Zack The Jackman as the music arranger and Andi Rianto as the composer for his 8th single.

For Dudy Oris, in this song, he feels lucky to be a singer. Because he can collaborate with parties who have long been involved in the Indonesian music industry.

"I am lucky, contacted by Zack and offered to sing Aku Bukan Dia, a song from @legendamusikindo. This song suits my character and @legendamusikindo was also quick in their response, so the introduction process to recording could go smoothly and well," explained the owner of the real name Dudy Eko Handoko Kurniawan through his press release.

1. Freedom of Recreation

In this song, Dudy Oris also had the opportunity to be creative. "I was given freedom during the song production, such as filling in the mood in the song to match my character. Alhamdulillah, collaborating with @legendamusikindo and the musicians involved was a pleasant collaboration experience," added Dudy.

Aku Bukan Dia is a pop song that tells the story of a person who is plagued by chaotic thoughts or confusion. The presence of another man or woman who is often used as a comparison always appears in the journey of a couple's romance. "The theme is interesting, the notes are simple, but the lyrics are quite 'deep'," he said.

Meanwhile, Director of Support and Business Development at @legendamusikindo, Faisal Nurdin, stated that they found compatibility with Dudy after this single was presented. It didn't take long to reach an agreement until the recording process of the man who had been present in Yovie & Nuno's music career. "Dudy was immediately interested after hearing the demo version of 'Aku Bukan Dia' and we went through the recording process smoothly," he explained.

The opportunity to work with a singer and musicians who are rich in experience resulted in two versions of 'Aku Bukan Dia'. @legendamusikindo once again became the link between the singer and the founder of Magenta Orchestra, Andi Rianto. "The first version was created by Zack and was released in August, the musical atmosphere is very 'Dudy'. Then in the second version, we asked for Mas Andi (Rianto)'s help to arrange this song with a more romantic and beautiful orchestral touch," explained Faisal.

3. Vocal Challenge

"These two arrangement versions are a challenge for me in filling the vocals. For the band version, I am already comfortable working with Zack. As for the orchestra version, I really trust Andi Rianto," said Dudy, responding to Faisal's statement.

"Aku Bukan Dia" has been available on various digital platforms such as Spotify or Apple Music. In the near future, @legendamusikindo will soon release a music video for this new song by Dudy, which will be followed by a music concert at the end of September 2020. Singers and musicians whose works have been promoted by @legendamusikindo will fill this live streaming event.
