Dwi Andika Responds to Netizens' Urging to Marry Chika Jessica: Even Without a Status, We Are Committed

"Cika is my soulmate. If I were to say I love her, I love her very much, and I feel that Cika feels the same way too. I see and feel that Cika has those feelings as well," said Dwi Andika in the Tendean area, South Jakarta.

Although they love each other, Dwi Andika explained that their happiness is not measured by a marital status. Both were raised in open-minded families that view a relationship as more than just a formal bond.

"But it turns out we are very happy with the way things are now. It turns out we have the mindset that we both come from very liberal families. In a relationship, the essence is not just the status," he explained.

For them, commitment, loving each other, and giving attention have become the core of the relationship they are in. They have found the point of happiness that many people seek without having to be bound by a marriage status.

"But even without a status, we are committed, we love each other, we care for each other, and we have found the point where the happiness that everyone is really looking for, it turns out we have already gotten that, so it's fine, we are not pushing it," he said.

Dwi Andika is even worried that a status could ruin the harmonious relationship they have built over the years. For him, enjoying the current relationship is the key to the longevity of their friendship.

"Let's not let, uh, what is it, just because of an agreement or status ruin our relationship that is just fine, because we can maintain our relationship for decades until now because we really enjoy our current situation, you know," she concluded.
