Eating Carelessly When Young, This is the Secret of Senior Actress Widyawati's Beauty at the Age of 73

Kapanlagi.com - Senior actress Widyawati started her career in the Indonesian entertainment industry since 1965. It's hard to believe that she is now 73 years old, but her appearance still remains naturally beautiful.

When asked about her secret, Widyawati revealed that it all comes from taking care of her body since a young age. She compared taking care of her body to taking care of a partner.

"Of course, taking care of oneself should start from a young age because the results will be seen when you're old. Everything needs to be taken care of, it can't be neglected. Just like a partner, love needs to be nurtured, if it's not nurtured, it will eventually lead to conflicts," said Widyawati when met in Kemang, South Jakarta, on Monday (13/11/2023).

Although she has been taking care of her body since she was young, Widyawati admits that when it comes to eating, she is very careless. However, after reading a health book approaching the age of 50, she changed that habit.

"In fact, when I was young, I was reckless. Sometimes, I regret why I didn't take care of my food back then, no matter what I ate. Finally, when I was approaching 50, I read a health book and changed my lifestyle," she said.

2. Grateful to Still Have a Job

At her current age, Widyawati is still productive in starring in movies for the big screen as well as streaming services. She can't comment much on that matter other than expressing gratitude.

"I am grateful that God still gives me a job. Every time I wake up, I always say 'Thank you, God.' That's my way of expressing gratitude for still having a job," said the wife of the late Sophan Sophiaan.
