Musician Ahmad Dhani revealed that his second son, El Rumi, is still busy with work schedules ahead of his wedding day with Syifa Hadju. In fact, the grand series of events is scheduled to take place on May 26, 2026.
Dhani regrets El's attitude of not taking a break or going through a period of isolation. He admitted that he had directly scolded his son because of that busyness.
"I even scolded him too, he is still working. I don’t know why he is still working. He should be secluded, but he is not secluded," said Ahmad Dhani when met in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta, Sunday (24/05/2026).
Although his schedule is very busy, Dhani sees El Rumi not showing signs of anxiety or nervousness. El's mental condition appears very calm as he faces a new stage in his life. "No, not at all," said Dhani.
Ahmad Dhani feels that his duty as a parent is complete in educating his children.
Ahmad Dhani feels proud to be able to guide El Rumi to follow in the footsteps of his older brother, Al Ghazali, to build his own household.
"There are no messages. The point is, I have successfully educated El, educated Al, to enter the next stage, which is the household stage," he said.
Regarding future hopes, Dhani wants El to have many descendants. He even compared it to the number of his own children to motivate El.
"As many as possible. I have five, right?" Dhani concluded.
