Emphasize It's Not Because Fandy Christian Cheated, Dahlia Poland Firmly Files for Divorce

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce lawsuit filed by Dahlia Poland against Fandy Christian suddenly brings back the issue of a third party that had previously caused a stir in 2023. Many suspect that the presence of another party is the main trigger for the breakdown of this nearly decade-long marriage.

When asked for confirmation regarding this matter, Dahlia's attorney, Wayan Vajra Fhany Jaya, chose not to provide a clear answer. Wayan stated that the details regarding the cause of the divorce are confidential due to the closed nature of the trial.

"As for the third party, I will not answer that; it seems my friends will know more about it because, again, it pertains to the core of the matter," said Wayan Vajra during a virtual press conference on Tuesday (12/8/2025).

Wayan highly values the ethics of his profession as a lawyer, so he cannot disclose the details that are at the core of his client's issues. He suggests that if one wants certainty, it's better to ask directly to Dahlia or Fandy.

"So perhaps this can also be appreciated as my professional ethics. So if you want to ask, please go to Mbak Dahlia or Mas Fandy, feel free if they want to speak," he explained.

Nevertheless, Wayan provides an overview of his client's long journey in facing this issue. He hopes that the chronology he shares can provide a bit of enlightenment without violating the confidentiality of the trial.

"So I can only convey it as I did earlier so that friends here do not receive raw information, making it seem pointless. So I will tell how my meeting with Bu Dahlia went, please draw your own conclusions," he elaborated.

2. The Difference in Principles Between Dahlia and Fandy

On another occasion, Wayan mentioned that there is a "difference in principles" underlying Dahlia's decision. This, combined with other material matters that cannot be disclosed, has become the accumulation of existing issues.

"Yes, a difference in principles, and also other materials, which of course we cannot mention explicitly," he said.

Wayan also hinted that Dahlia's decision to separate was not an easy one and was not made in a short period of time. There were various considerations and triggering events that occurred even long before 2023.

"Ms. Dahlia's decision is not like, how should I put it, eating chili, where today it’s spicy and you feel it right away, no. It was not decided in a short time frame, no. It was a long-term consideration," he concluded.
